Meet & Greet

At Billy Jane’s grooming in Earl Shilton, Leicester, we offer a ‘Meet and Greet’ service to all our new fur babies and owners. It is important that we all feel comfortable with each other. More importantly that your beloved pet feels comfortable around the salon.

Early Introduction

With a new puppy groom it is vital that handling and dog grooming is introduced as early as possible. This helps to prevent any anxiety later on.  It is always more difficult handling feet and teeth with a pet that is not used to it.

We also prefer this service with all larger breeds. This is mainly down to size and power. We also like to find out what your pets temperament is like. This is important before we start looking inside those mouths full of sharp teeth and handling those long claws.

Looking To Move Groomers?

We have many customers that move from other salons. The whole process still needs to start again as they will be used to the previous groomer. If your pet didn’t particularly like the last groomer then they may already expect us to be the same. We need to show them that they are safe and can trust us.

Happy Fur Babies

We are proud to say that all of our current fur babies get excited when they come through our door. This shows us they have no fear of whats to come. A tail wag and a smiley show of teeth lets us know they are happy to see us. Jane works her magic so that they can leave after their pamper session smelling fresh and looking sharp.

Our Cancellation Policy

We understand that life can be challenging and things can change on a daily basis, but we have a waiting list for new customers and if you have to cancel your appointment for any reason then we request that we are given enough notice to enable us to fill your appointment slot. If the notice is too short and we can’t rebook your appointment then unfortunately we have no choice but to charge for lost time.
